Deep in the bowels of Tangent Books a box has been found containing the last 35 copies of "Court in the Act" a unique record of the much-loved Ashton Court Community Festival told in words and pictures from 1974 – 1992.
Unseen and unloved for 18 years we are delighted to be able to offer this wonderful and highly scarce curiosity. With rarely seen photos and interviews, a list of all the performers, bands and acts over the many stages, this is an opportunity to relive the early glory days when Bristolians thrilled to The Cortinas, The Seers, The Moonflowers, Brilliant Corners and…er, Fred Wedlock.
As one might expect, the books are showing their age a little, but they remain a fascinating evocation of Bristol's favourite festival and will delight anyone who can remember if they were there. As the big stores say "Hurry while stocks last!" Once these last remaining copies are gone that's yer lot!
