Beezer's remarkable collection of pictures of the 'Bristol Scene' in the 80s has only been available on japanese import up until now. The book features many shots fron St Paul's Carnival, The Dug Out, Red House Jam and classic shots of The Wild Bunch before they went on to superstardom as Massive Attack. This new edition includes never before seen work from Massive Attack's 3D as well as a 'Gallery' section that puts a place and a date to all the amazing photos.
Essential for all lovers of reportage photography and those who want to see what it was like to be "Young, Gifted and Bristolian".
Signed and strictly limited first edition.

I bought this book a few years ago at Arnolfini on import - it cost about £40 and was worth every penny. The photography is excellent, but it's the access that Beezer had that makes it really special - behind the decks at the legendary Campbell Street jam, fabulous shots of Wild Bunch at the Dug Out and the Red House party and lots more.

i saw the book the other day before it went to print - and i have a copy of the japan version and really, the 2009 Wild Dayz version is quite an amazing example of fly-on-the-wall/insider photographic art. it has more artwork than the 2004 Wild Dayz japan version and the gallery with the captions puts a place/name/time flag on it for those not so familiar with some of the faces and places and times. a very interesting journey and time can be seen. nice one Tangent and thanks Beezer!
