In a world of corporate manufactured pop music, washed-up singer-songwriter Sam Decosta dies in a house fire. Her death has been faked. She wakes up imprisoned on Site 26 with other dead pop stars. Only Drag Alba, a drug addicted trend analyst and cool hunter at Sam's record label is suspicious about her death. As Sam's album sales continue to climb, Drag becomes embroiled in the conspiracy, and finds himself fighting to separate the truth from the corporate spin.
