The inaugural Bristol Short Story Prize anthology features the 20 best stories from the very first competition that took place in 2008.
This anthology showcases an excellent selection of 20 original, previously unpublished short stories. The writers are of diverse ages, backgrounds and nationalities, with on thing in common - they all entered the Bristol Short Story Prize 2008.
As the competition was a completely new venture, the judging panel was delighted by the response and quality of the entires. Choosing their favourite stories from all those submitted was a long and difficult process. The result is an outstanding anthology of new writing, in many genrres, and based in various different parts of the globe.
