The Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology is back! The Bristol Prize is now being organised by the University of Bristol’s Department of English who have nurtured the legacy of the short story competition originally set up by a group of Bristol publishers and booksellers back in 2007 (the first anthology was published in 2008).

Since then, the Bristol Prize has become one of the world’s most prestigious short story competitions and over the years, many of the shortlisted authors have been signed up by agents and publishers. Others are already established authors.

The Bristol Prize is now a global competition and this year’s anthology features the work of 15 outstanding writers from around the world, celebrating a rich variety of cultures and influences.
