The learning materials were compiled by Lilleith Morrison, author of the book, and tell the story of Paul’s life and focus in particular on the Bristol Bus Boycott of 1963, led by Paul and others.

The Bus Boycott is one of the outstanding examples of successful Black protest in Britain. It led directly to the anti-racist legislation in the first Race Relations Act of 1965 which was introduced by Harold Wilson’s Labour Government.
