Following the success of his first volume of short stories, Slowly Downward, Radiohead ‘artist in residence’ Stanley Donwood has now released a second collection. Donwood’s themes are existential – individuals rejected by and who reject mainstream society. Although the stories tend to have a morose outlook, there’s also a dark strand of humour running through them.

The book cover is a debossed lino cut from Donwood’s ‘London Views’ work.
