At the time of her death, Allana was writing her first novel, a futuristic story set in a tribal homeland that follows Rocky as he struggles to break free of the oppression of traditional expectations.
After Allana’s death, her grandmother Lorraine Martin completed the novel, writing in the style of Allana – two writers connected by one extraordinary story. The result is Land Of The Free, a remarkable collaboration that takes readers on a journey of friendship, mindfulness and coming of age in a fantasy land of oppression and wonder.
