Rachel Bentham has had numerous short stories, docudramas and plays broadcast by BBC Radio Four, and won prizes for scriptwriting and poetry. For many years, she was a Royal Literary Fellow, working with students and staff at the Universities of Cardiff, Cardiff Met, Bath, Exeter and Bristol.
Currently, Dr Bentham teaches lifewriting, memoir and general creative writing at the Universities of Bristol and Oxford – she's often deeply moved by the stories that people are brave enough to share in her classes.
She has four previous poetry collections; Trust, Let All Tongues Flower, Other Roads North and The Bhutan Haiku (published by Firewater Press).
