Recollections Of Jazz in Bristol takes a decade-by-decade look at the Bristol jazz scene from the 1940s to the 1980s. The story begins in a flat above a sweet shop in Redcliffe and the formation of the The Avon Cities band and works its way through all the main jazz outfits over the next 40 years.
Also includes sections on singers, comedy bands, venues and musician tales as well as many archive photographs.
